Hi list, I'm currently trying to get OpenMusic working on ArchLinux, without the tiniest success. I´d really like to know if anyone has this running currently... Did anyone get MidiShare to build and work on a 2.6.1x kernel? Did anyone get so far to use OpenMusic on linux in recent times? MidiShare btw bails out with this: hb@okcomputer:~/temp/midishare-1.91-linux2.6-src/src/linux$ make make -C ../common make[1]: Entering directory `/home/hb/temp/midishare-1.91-linux2.6-src/src/common' cc -D_LOOSE_KERNEL_NAMES -DMODVERSIONS -D__Pentium__ -DCONFIG_KERNELD -DMODULE -D__KERNEL__ -DLINUX -D__NO_VERSION__ -I Headers -I atomic -I /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build/include/ -c -o Clients/msAlarms.o Clients/msAlarms.c In file included from Headers/msDefs.h:29, from Headers/msMemory.h:30, from Headers/msAppls.h:30, from Headers/msAlarms.h:26, from Clients/msAlarms.c:23: Headers/msTypes.h:70: error: redeclaration of enumerator 'false' /lib/modules/2.6.28-ARCH/build/include/linux/stddef.h:16: error: previous definition of 'false' was here Headers/msTypes.h:70: error: redeclaration of enumerator 'true' /lib/modules/2.6.28-ARCH/build/include/linux/stddef.h:18: error: previous definition of 'true' was here make[1]: *** [Clients/msAlarms.o] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/hb/temp/midishare-1.91-linux2.6-src/src/common' make: *** [common] Error 2 Shouldn't be too hard to fix this error but I'm currently not really sure if it's really worth it considering newer versions are MacOS only and v5.2.1 has yet some other rather uncommon dependencies... Btw: Are there any alternatives? I found pwgl (http://www2.siba.fi/PWGL/pwgl.html) but that's windows/mac only...
