Svend-Erik, > My hardware is a Lenovo T61 and RME Multiface + PCMCIA card. If you have xruns with that hardware, it is a problem with your setup and has nothing to do with the distribution. You should identify the causes and deal with it first. E.g. if you have xruns with the CardBus + multiface, I would first check wether your CardBus controller shares it's interrupts with something else and address that problem. > I'm a noob in compiling my own kernels so I'm most confident using > pre-compiled kernels, is there any help to get out there :) Compiling a kernel is not that hard, and if you keep your old kernels in reach, nothing bad can happen. But as I said, first you should find the cause for the xruns. Flo -- Machines can do the work, so people have time to think. public key 6C002249 x-hkp://wwwkeys.eu.pgp.net _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-audio-user
