you are right that there is no updated ISO, but the current recommendation is to just work from a stock SUSE11 install -- see this page: http://en.opensuse.org/JackLab/3_Steps_to_JAD_for_Beginners_2

i'm currently running jacklab, 64-bit, based on SUSE11, on a T61P Thinkpad.
