It seems like the interrupts aren't going through for some reason. Why, and is there anything one can do about it, short of trying a different motherboard? uname -a: Linux localhost 2.6.27-gentoo #2 SMP PREEMPT Fri Oct 17 03:23:28 CEST 2008 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux Using the ALSA drivers that come with the kernel. IRQ 16 is also used by a Silicon Image SATA interface (sata_sil24), and two nVidia 8800GT video cards, and there doesn't seem to be much I can do about that. There are two PCI slots, but one is blocked by a video card cooler. I could try removing the offending video card and see if the Layla DSP card works in that PCI slot... Wouldn't really solve my problem (there are two video cards for a reason :-), but it might be interesting to see if it has any effect. //David Olofson - Programmer, Composer, Open Source Advocate .------- http://olofson.net - Games, SDL examples -------. | http://zeespace.net - 2.5D rendering engine | | http://audiality.org - Music/audio engine | | http://eel.olofson.net - Real time scripting | '-- http://www.reologica.se - Rheology instrumentation --' _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-audio-user
