Did you look on here: http://www.linux-on-laptops.com/hp.html I looked, but didn't find your laptop number. HP has SO MANY laptops, that it's hard to keep up. They're like Japanese companies that regurgitate every few months ;-) Maybe you could find your laptop, or similar laptop, on the site.
