guitarix is a simple Linux amplifier for jack(Jack Audio Connektion Kit) with one input and two outputs. Designed to get nice thrash/metal/rock guitar sounds. There are controls for bass, treble, gain, preamp, balance, distortion, freeverb, impulse response (), crybaby(wah) and echo . A fixed resonator will be used when distortion is disabled. For 'pressure' in the sound you can use the feedback and feedforward sliders. changelog: guitarix (0.02.7-1) unstable; urgency=low * add suport for jconv * use jack_capture_gui2 to create the comandline for jack_capture * add preamp * change preset handling to save by name include the jconv settings * rework the distortion funktion * add all effekts to the ladspa plugin * add versioncheck to make sure the saved presets work with new version guitarix based on Gtk, a great part is also realesed as ladspa plugin. guitarix is licensed under GPL Homepage with screenshots: https://brain.kicks-ass.org/~hermann/guitarfx.html download: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=236234&package_id=286951&release_id=637613 or http://downloads.sourceforge.net/guitarix/guitarix-0.02.7.tar.bz2?modtime=1225640620&big_mirror=0 For capture guitarix make use of jack_capture ver >= 0.9.30 from Kjetil S.
