It also allows to add shortcuts to 'preferred directories',
but these are shared with other GTK apps, e.g. Acroread.
If all apps use the a shared list of such directories it
becomes rather long and that just defeats the original
purpose. It's also a security risk. Is there any way to
make this local to each application ?
