I compiled 2.6.25.8-rt7 with Nvidia driver and it runs Ardourt/Rosegarden/Hydrogen/Qsynth studio with no probs.
I get crackles with new Renoise 2.0 beta which are not there with 2.6.23.11-rt14. But that will not concern the FOSS community.. :)
