There is no package for installing rakarrack on Ubuntu, so I'm using the old configure, make, make install method and I'm almost finished with the configure except for one error message. configure can't see my Jack files. I've got lots of them installed, but it says: Package jack was not found in pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing "jack.pc" to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable. I don't have a file called jack.pc anywhere, but I've got lots of other Jack files. As far as I know everything Jack has already been installed so I don't know how or where you can even get the file jack.pc. The Synaptic package manager shows I've installed everything Jack and does not list a jack.pc file. The command "env" shows no envirnment variable called PKG_CONFIG_PATH. This is rather frustrating. Has anyone any ideas what I can do, or perhaps, what I've done wrong? _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-audio-user
