currently I'm looking for a card which can replace my 28 channel rack mixer.
The main purpose is to mix various synths, some guit and mic; I'd then do it
via a FW card and in software using ardour.

I need at least 16 Mono (resp. 8 stereo) inputs plus some mic ins with phantom
power. I'd like to route the ins to any outs. If the routing was preserved
even if not connected to a computer it would be great.

Until now I have never seen a card which pleases my needs. If there is one
from a taiwanese OEM, I'd be interested :) .

Cheers,

ce
