Dave,
   Glad I can be of some small help to the guy who has helped so many of us.

   Have fun with your new purchase. I guess the 2253BW is an updated
version of the 226BW that we have. I know ours is a really fine
picture. The 8000:1 contrast and 2mS response times make it really
great for movies, video games and anything demanding. Couple it with a
high end gaming VGA - my kid spent $300 if I remember correctly - and
you get some amazing shots.
