Hey the gig went pretty well. And the recording was superb with jack_capture, I used 9 channels smoothand easy. Now I'm so pleased with my Multiface though it's just a SteinbergAudioLink 96 Multiset, I don't regret the money I spend on it, that'sfoe sure. And now I'm pretty confident with the thought of selling outmy ADAT's and only use my notebook or my stationary computer for musicrecording. /Sv-etor, 03 07 2008 kl. 08:28 +0200, skrev Svend-Erik Kjær Madsen:> Hi > > I'm no techie but isn't the calculation regarding how fast your harddisk> must be quite simple, if we assume working in 44100KHz ?> > A normal CD delivers 150Kb pr. second and its two tracks, so storing> multichannelrecordings in 44100 must be something like 75Kb per second X> times as X is the number of tracks.> > I have no doubts that my Lenove T61P with sata disk can store more than> the 75Kb * 18 my RME Multiface offer, else the thing is broken.> > /Sv-e> ons, 02 07 2008 kl. 21:20 +0200, skrev David Forsyth:> > Date: Wed, 02 Jul 2008 13:38:11 +0200 (CEST)> > From: "Kjetil S.
