Greetings, I purchased a Logitech QuickCam Communicate MP, which is apparently supported by the gspca driver. However, I've made the rather surprising discovery that webcam support is *not* a feature of the 64 Studio and JAD distributions. Ouch. So if I'm right it appears that I'll have to recompile the kernel for V4L support. Am I correct to assume this ? And after I've done so, I should be able to run the v4l software in the Debian and OpenSUSE repos, yes ? If you've used a webcam under one of the Linux rt systems, please advise, it would be most appreciated.
