What if I can't afford DI-boxes? Which is best to use?
A DI-box is a really small investment.
The cheapest one my regular music store carries is Alto DI-1 (about $67 USD) and Zzsounds have a Behringer GI100 Ultra G for $35 USD. You can also check the classifieds.
