Did anyone else encounter this or has anyone a > suggestion? If you compile a new version of jack by hand, you should make sure it overwrites the one you have from the package. Usually you do this by running configure with the correct prefix: if "which jackd" gives /usr/bin/jackd you run configure with ./configure --prefix=/usr Overwriting the packaged version ensures that you have only one jack version installed, and also should prevent package dependency issues. The better option is to keep using packaged versions. Also note that 0.109.2 has some issues that 0.103.0 doesn't have.
