I read this "The kernel-multimedia alternative kernel is no longer available with Mandriva Linux 2008 Spring. ... Despite its name, it has not been specifically targeted towards multimedia use for some time." here: http://wiki.mandriva.com/en/2008.1_Notes#kernel-multimedia_removed I'm wondering if anyone knows the right kernel package to run with Mandriva 2008.1. Maybe I have to create my own, but I'm not too happy about that as it tends to break things like proprietary kernel modules, at least when *I* build a kernel. Any thoughts on this folks?
