Sorry, Nigel, but I may not have been clear. I'm running 
alsaseq2jackmidi and Lars's AZR3 on my JAD machine (OpenSUSE 10.2, 32-bit).

Btw, FWIW, Lars's port is the third time the AZR3 has been ported to Linux.
