Current Debian Sid jack version do not yet support -X so you need 
aseq2jackmidi to use it. Or else you must compile jack from more recent 
versions.

The URL for the alsaseq bridge is on a recent post to LUA. If you like, I can 
simply send you the source file off list. There is no make, simply compile as 
instructed in the program comments!
