Hi Ken!
  I only that fluidsynth can manage with little. I've used it for a very long 
time on a 600MHz Celeron. The only problem was memory. Even with nskit6 and me 
pressing as many keys as I could, I could get 90-95% of CPU usage. and that 
wasn't really what I did usually. :-)
