Hi list,

I can't recall how many times I set-up a new machine with linux for 
audio work and had to do this...

I think this is an issue that should somewhat be automated in most 
distros... Cheap sound-interface for cheap events, high-end interface 
for serious stuff.

Just my 2 cents thoughts...
