The Linux P5 driver has stalled, and its creator doesn't have much to
say.  It is extremely jumpy to the point of being unusable for musical
purposes.  There are very good Windows drivers and input redirection
programs for it, but you may find yourself having to write code to use
it in Linux.  I also wrote to the guy who wrote the best Windows
driver and never got a response.
The P5 is an amazing device, but almost forgotten.
