sorry Ken I should have read more carefully. What i suggested will only work 
with ardour as Jack/MTC master NOT whilst slaving. this will not work. 
RG mtc doesn't work very well and will slip and carry on. Try it but my 
experience was not a good one. I wouldn't waste my time. Ardour's the way to 
go but only as time master.

PT should slave perfectly well and as you're only dumping midi tracks anyway 
so what. Slave that PT man...

ardour MTC rulez :)
