Regarding the schedule - I'm not too concerned about tracking MIT's
calendar exactly; for one thing I'm not even sure if they're giving
that course this autumn. But September seems like as good a time to
start as any, and we might as well give ourselves a 1-semester time
limit  :)

I'll set up a separate mailing list for the study group and post a
link to it here.  Feel free to contact anybody else you know who might
be interested and give them my email address.
