Thank you for your response. I found a thread about that test application and I've been trying to build libfreebob but I had problems with it not finding libpthread. I have Fedora 7 and can't find the devel package of pthread anywhere.

There is a test application for setting the volumes. But you have to
compile the freebob source yourself, since it is not shipped normally
(after all it is only a test application so far).
