I'm happier with the current situation, too! I'm using KMail and my filters still work fine, and there's a reply-to-list button, too. When I joined the list I was really confused that replies would be sent to the whole list, instead of to the author of the post. With munging off it is more intuitive. Anyway, I don't understand why some people make such a fuzz about it.
