It reminds me of the great jump-right-into-it non-intro to Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Little Sister". It's jarring, and engaging, and grabs yer attention, like starting a novel in the middle of a fight scene. Lovely hollow-body guitar sound, and excellent comping. Great harp solo too. It might be worth grabbing the snare hits (in Ardour or whatever sequencer you're using), and scooting them forward a few milliseconds after the beat, to digitally simulate the slowed reaction times usually obtained by giving the drummer a few more shots of whiskey. - -ken -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFGue2fe8HF+6xeOIcRArNKAKCWTBWVaCVtPA6jJW6BD+bA3Vz6wwCeKwax GMBqyphM1TBzD+nJTbduh4s= =h81A -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/linux-audio-user
