I've had some weird microphone problems with a friends Audigy card. When I put a .asoundrc in his home directory it got solved. I really don't know if it will solve your problem but if you don't have any .asoundrc it can't hurt to have one. Just do this: cd cat > .asoundrc pcm.emu10k1 { type hw card 0 } ctl.emu10k1 { type hw card 0 } end it with a ctrl-C and try again. ref. http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/doc-php/template.php?company=Creative+Labs&card=Sound+Blaster+Audigy+ES.&chip=emu10k2&module=emu10k1#aso regards, -- - Bengan ------------------------------------------ - KTHNOC http://www.noc.kth.se/~bengan ------------ - Office: +46 8 7906586, Mobile: +46 70 6443325 --- - sip:gorden@xxxxxx, bengtgorden@xxxxxxxxx -------- _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/linux-audio-user
