so it is again the 4.3.0-2+b1 debian-version issue here.
what about the other debian-lanny users, can someone realize some slownesses with qjackctl0.3.1a and qt44.3.0-2+b1 combined?

cheers,

I've tried lenny on a couple of machines but found I had so many
obscure problems (mostly video) I gave up and went back to etch.

Mind you, for my music machine I use 64studio which is etch-based.
the same here, if i update the 15 x.org packages i do net get any video stuff working properly anymore (mplayer, vlc, xjadeo...), so i just do not update.
the same now with qt4, i keep the etch versions installed.
but for building glashctl, i had to wait long time for an proper version of libgtkmm-2.4(>2.10...).

cheers,
