compiled fine for me using g++-4.1 on ubuntu fiesty with no modifications to the makefile. meh. anyway, great plugins :) thanx very much.

strange, here it makes the same error with g++-3.4 and with g++-4.2 too.
the strange thing is that i don't find the version 4.0 in debian testing.

david, if you are on debian testing, can you please tell me what is the
entry in your /etc/apt/sources.lst?
