I only get really pissed off if anyone says anything negative about JAMin ;-) Actually, I like constructive criticism. My problem with this thread is that the subject was never approached with a "gee, wouldn't it be nice if Ardour..." attitude. It was basically "Ardour sucks and everything else is much better". When I see that type of criticism my response is usually - either do better or go elsewhere. I have a great deal of respect for Paul Davis and the rest of the Ardour crew so I don't really appreciate people bad mouthing them or saying that their efforts are crap. If someone wants to make things better they need to provide useful input. If you enjoy receiving garbage like most of what has been presented in this thread then more power to you. I will continue to be annoyed by ungrateful whiners. -- Jan 'Evil Twin' Depner http://myweb.cableone.net/eviltwin69 "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chardonnay in one hand, chocolate in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming 'WOO HOO, what a ride'" _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/linux-audio-user
