Someone on that list told me that hda-intel would never ever work properly on linux, and especially not with pro-quality low-latency audio like jackd, because the hda-intel is a crappy, poorly-documented chip. I decided to forget about it, blow it off, and buy an external interface. My very cheap, old M-Audio Audiophile USB interface works perfectly. I had an FA-66 with firewire that worked perfectly too (and was a much better unit as well). - -ken -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFGcwtFe8HF+6xeOIcRAh7PAKCwoH6XxLwjr/zRpP4RoUNusl7ZSACgn6ZL esypfEHxYQuaWboel0IxVPk= =psc1 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/linux-audio-user
