Is the firmware revision 10 still the newest firmware version that will work with linux? http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/doc-php/template.php?company=RME&card=Hammerfall+DSP+9652.&chip=FPGA&module=hdsp I see above that at one point people were able to downgrade to revision 10 but RME no longer has that firmware revision on their webpage. Does anyone have the flash update tool that would let me do this? [and the appropriate windoze driver if necessary]. I'm at Rev 11 and I get this when I plug in my multiface dmesg snip [ 25.933000] Hammerfall-DSP: loading firmware [ 29.236000] Hammerfall-DSP: finished firmware loading [ 29.742000] Hammerfall-DSP: wait for FIFO status <= 127 failed after 5000 iterations [ 29.742000] Hammerfall-DSP: Error setting default values [ 29.742000] Hammerfall-DSP: error creating alsa devices [ 29.742000] Hammerfall-DSP: couldn't get firmware from userspace. try using hdsploader [ 29.742000] Hammerfall-DSP: card initialization pending : waiting for firmware [ 29.743000] ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:03:00.0 disabled [ 29.743000] RME Hammerfall DSP: probe of 0000:03:00.0 failed with error -16 I would really appreciate any help anyone can give. thanks, Alex _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/linux-audio-user
