I think I found a way to duplicate the ALSA seq out-freakage that I noticed yesterday.

If I start up alsaseq2jackmidi, and *then* launch rosegarden, all hell breaks loose. The ALSA seq basically dies.

The solution is to shutdown all JACK apps, and jackd, then shut off or disconnect all MIDI or audio devices, and then unload all the snd-* kernel modules, and then turn on the audio and/or midi devices again, then finally restart jackd and all the apps.

Problem does not occur if I start rosegarden first, then alsaseq2jackmidi. So, not surprising, apparently ALSA and JACK get into an argument about timing.
