ok, i understand - i am having here gcj-4.1 from debian.
some times ago i tried to compile java for my linux box myself, but i did not managed it.

You don't have to compile anything, and I doubt gcj will work with dsp02. Just download the java 5 jdk from java.sun.com, and make sure the "bin/java" binary in that package is placed first in your path.

ok, that sound easy - i am downloading the package:

'java_app_platform_sdk-5_02-linux.bin'

is that the right one?
