Is no one running Linux audio software (succesfully) on a laptop without external soundcards?
I'm running debian on a IBM T41, and sometimes at small gigs I just use the buildin soundcard. It's much better than the one in my old laptop.
Basically I'm very happy with the T41, it's well supported on linux and really easy to install and configure. Besides that it's a good build quality, with quite a lot of nice details.
