That would make a device that has way too many features.

Nevertheless. it'd be great.  Even more so if the communication
protocol is Open Source And Standard.  A MIDI keyboard that actually
interacts with apps running on the workstation.  I think the idea is
simple and good.  Why put out a Liostracs Linux MIDI keyboard with KDE
when KDE is already running on a computer in the same room ?
