There are various sf2 and .gig resources all over the web, alas most of 'em with a dubious license. given the recent number of "soundfont" posts to LAU, i concur that linuxaudio.org should devote some resources on the subject. I've started a page on our tentative wiki: http://apps.linuxaudio.org/wiki/soundfonts to collect resources and gather ideas; feel free to continue discussion on the mailing lists: convergence of free & open sound-font collections is overdue and we can use any hand available ;) - even so more when ardour MIDI track newbies will start to ask for soundfonts in the near future. robin -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFGSynMeVUk8U+VK0IRAo/fAJ4idiX0hMPWIE7uulcmfPjSu+dZ/wCfbZP8 x/iOO8B66Zymu+Z8C6GznVk= =UZ27 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/linux-audio-user
