It had a control GUI, but it's broken since long. Thats a shame about Smack. It sounded interesting, but never got a chance to try the patches because of problems building Om. I remember complaining about the dependencies for Om. It was created using the latest, and greatest libraries on Mandriva, wasn't it? I spent many hours trying to find the correct library versions for this thing to build, and with little success. In the end I gave up.
