Can anyone recommend a list for general non-Linux-related electronic music discussions?

I'm looking for recommendations for things like laptop stands (to use along with a MIDI controller), advice on obtaining and booking electronic/ambient music and/or DJ-style gigs, collaborating with visual artists, poets, or MC's, and other stuff relating to music performance and music business but not linux specifically.

There's a lot of lists and forums out there, but I don't want to have to wade through all of them, if some folks here can offer some recommendations to help me narrow it down a bit.
