But honestly I don't think you will record death-metal with anything else than
a very numb sm57 in front of the speaker-cabinet... which the guitarist
claims to be only of feasible quality when run in the all-knobs-to-maximum
setting... :-)
What - you mean the knobs go the OTHER DIRECTION, too? ;-)
I used to run the output of my Hammond organ through a wahwah pedal,
then an additional volume control pedal, then into the amp ... made some
awesome sounds! Burned out a lot of pedals, too!
