(The turntable of course supplanted the guitar sometime around the 1990's.) I guess most of the "battlers" will be toting Macs running Ableton Live 6 or some such thing, connected to a Behringer digital mixer. I agree, there is a huge potential here for skilled beatmeisters with Penguin stickers on their laptops to "represent" Open Source. Tools like freewheeling, seq24, and ChucK/PD/SuperCollider/cSound could make quite an impact. - -ken -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFGEad7e8HF+6xeOIcRAsEXAJ9J/CalOmVx4O1pLa23n4RJ6Yc8GACdH4Qt qdb5q1bF35w+fO0kLH5VjGo= =/uJS -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/linux-audio-user
