might i suggest adding a field for comments, so folks can note any problem areas in a particular setup.
this is an excellent idea, and would be a useful resource. the trick (and this is vital to its usefulness) is to get widespread participation.
I glanced at someone's reply to this listing their laptop. The make and
model number didn't tell me what I was looking for - processor/speed,
and memory.
