I'm able to run midifiles through fluidsynth; what I'd like to be able to do is get tektracker going and use that for step-editing, being able to hear what I'm doing. The only port aconnect shows me is 62, a midi thru port. But that wouldn't let me do what I want, would it? Thanks again, Terrence
