No, since GLASHCtl 0.4 requires gtkmm >= 2.10.1. 1.2.0, 2.2.12 and 2.8.8
are all < 2.10.1.

I don't know why Debian are so slow - are you sure that they don't even
have a gtkmm 2.10 package in the "unstable" repositories?
