Hmm, I don't disagree, but in principle at least isn't it better to get a clean signal into the computer, then spoil it digitally? (Compression being a side issue). I *can't* disagree because I've got a valve (tube) preamp that sounds great overdriven ;-) Cheers, Danny. -- http://dannyayers.com
