I know this is not the most suited place to ask this, but I'm no
longer subscribed to the ALSA mailing list, so... I hope you can help me.

I have recently ran into a "problem" with my  old emu10k1 card and its
mixer values... Using speaker-test I don't seem able to get  proper 4+
channel support. What I get is simply the front stream being "cloned"
to the rear speakers I remember I had this working not too long ago,
but I don't remember how I did it or which options I had in alsamixer.
By the way this is a Sound Blaster Live! Value card, and physically
everything is connected properly.
