BEAST/BSE version 0.7.0 and BSE-ALSA version 0.7.0 are
available for download at:

       ftp://beast.gtk.org/pub/beast/v0.7/
or

This is a development version of BEAST/BSE, the BEdevilled Audio SysTem
and the Bedevilled Sound Engine. BEAST is a powerful music composition
and modular synthesis application released as free software under the
GNU GPL and GNU LGPL, that runs under unix. BSE-ALSA is an ALSA driver
for BSE.
The project is hosted at:

The "Bedevilled" portion of the names has no religious background,
refer to the About page for more details:

The 0.7 development series of Beast focusses on improving usability and
ease of music production. Feedback is very much appreciated, please take

* Renamed scheme shell to bsescm
* Optimized core functions for MMX/SSE with runtime CPU detection
* Fixed CPU profiler to work with newer Linux kernels
* New probing code for optimized volume meters and FFT scopes

   StandardOscillator    - Added semitone transposition function
   FreeVerb              - Fixed distortions due to subnormal handling
   GusPatchEnvelope      - Better approximation of GUS Patch envelopes [Stefan]
