Is there a way to play midi from a URL while it is downloading? timidity http://... doesn't, it waits until the entire file has downloaded before playing. pmidi only accepts a filename, not a url. Timidity++ and fluidsynth are able to act as servers that respond to midi events in realtime, but is there an easy way to hook this feature up to read events from a url stream while it is being downloaded?
