bass punchiness [was Re: I'm back with some music]

Hi,

I like what Perlssdj is exploring in his late night jam and have found myself doing similar stuff on occasion. I have a general question for the advanced synth users out there...

Notice how the bass end sounds very washed out or hollow? Personally I enjoy this sound but I have found that most average listeners/dancers prefer bass to be more punchy. So is there any specific trick for taking these almost pure (to my ear) bass drone type sounds and giving them more punch? Apart from simply turning up the volume..

Cheers.

Apparently upon the beginning of the barrage, the donkey broke discipline and panicked, toppling the cart. At that point, the rockets disconnected from the timer, leaving them strewn around the street. Tethered to the now toppled cart, the donkey was unable to escape before the arrival of U.S. troops.
