I'm interested when FW interfaces will reach latencies of pci ones.MOTU 828 (firewire) on Mac's has 288 samples of latency. Better thanfreebob's but still a bit worse than pci.My Delta44 has 186-sample latency in 2x64 buffer setup.
It matters when you do realtime processing.
